How to replace Shopify default contact form with a Pify form?

You can replace Shopify's default contact form with a Pify form by following the steps below. After replacement, you can also switch back to Shopify's default contact form at any time.

Step 1: Create a contact form

1. In the app's navigation bar, select Forms.

2. Click the New Form button. You can choose an existing contact form template and then make custom changes as needed.

3. After completing the form, click Publish, then select Install in a custom position and copy the form code.

Step 2: Create a new contact template in your Shopify store and install the form

1. Go to the Shopify theme editor page.

2. Select Pages, then click the Create template button.

3. On the Create a template page, you can customize the template Name. Under Based on, select contact (the default Shopify contact template), then click the Create template button.

4. In the new contact template, you can delete the original Shopify contact form. Then, add a Pify Form block at your desired location and paste the Pify contact form code from Step 1 into it. Finally, save your changes.

Step 3: Change the contact page template to the new contact template

1. In Shopify, select Pages and go to the contact page.

2. Change the Template to the new contact template, then save your changes.

Once completed, the Pify form will appear when you visit the contact page. If you no longer need the Pify form later, you can simply change the contact page template back to the original Shopify contact template.
