Annual Paid Plan Refund Rules
Applicable Scenarios
When a user subscribes to an annual paid plan, then cancels the subscription after using it for a period of time and applies for a refund, the refundable amount shall be calculated according to these rules.
Refund Calculation Formula
Refundable Amount = Annual Paid Plan Fee - (Monthly Paid Plan Fee Corresponding to the Annual Paid Plan × Months Used)
Where:
Annual Paid Plan Fee: The fee actually paid by the user when subscribing to the annual paid plan.
Monthly Paid Plan Fee Corresponding to the Annual Paid Plan: The fee for the monthly paid version belonging to the same paid plan as the annual paid plan. The plan contents of the annual paid version and the monthly paid version shall maintain a corresponding relationship.
Months Used: The actual number of months the user has used after subscribing to the annual paid plan; any period less than one month shall be counted as one month.
Example
The fee for the annual paid ADV plan is USD 100, and the fee for the monthly paid ADV plan is USD 10. After subscribing to the annual paid ADV plan, the user uses it for one and a half months, then cancels the subscription and applies for a refund.
The months used shall be counted as two months, so the refundable amount is:
100 - (10 × 2) = USD 80
The final refundable amount is USD 80.
